Trapped - Part 11Joy was waiting for them when they got home. “Hello dears, I need to borrow the car.” she said as Sam and Katie got out. “What for?” asked Sam, slamming his door shut. “My car’s out of petrol and I need to get some more.” she said, taking the keys from him. “Then drive your car to the petrol station.” Sam said, giving Joy a strange look. “It’s completely out of petrol.” she said. “Jack had to come and help me push it today.” Sam laughed.

Trapped - Part 10Simply impressed by how well she remembered the way, Katie walked into the library. It was a large room, one side covered with thousands of books, all organized neatly with labels everywhere. Several computers lined the opposite walls, with a few students typing or doing research. Between the two walls were several large desks. Towards the back of the room was a doorway. Above it hung a neat little sign, reading ‘Study Area’. Trapped - Part 9Despite the headphones, all the students stood up and left the instant the bell rang for lunch. Katie hung back. What were the chances the cheerleader would want Katie to sit with them after recess. She hadn’t made the best impression. Not that she minded at that; they weren’t destined to be the best of friends. Katie smiled to herself. It was fun to bait Melissa. The teacher came over to Katie. Trapped - Part 8The classroom was empty as Katie walked in. Recess hadn’t yet finished, so it was no surprise. She dropped her books on a desk at the back of the class and sighed. She doubted anyone else would come in early, so she would have the room to herself for at least a little while. She wondered over to the small window, sitting at eye level, looking onto more grass, near a road. People were sitting together, talking amongst themselves. Hey everyone!

Next Thursday I leave for a 4 week tour of Europe with the Australian Womens Canoe Polo Team, and then onto World Championships in Amsterdam.

So there won't be much Trapped until i get back. I'm missing 1 scene, apart from that it's pretty much finished.

Hopefully I'll have a lovely shiny medal to take photos of when i get back, but im not counting on it. Australia are currently 6th in the world, and we're aiming for about 4th or 5th.
